Discipleship Training School
About DTS
Youth With A Mission Disciple Training Schools (DTS) provides a platform for releasing young people into missions. Therefore accepting and expressing all that God has called them to be as individuals within the Kingdom of God and their culture of origin.
DTS students live in the infusion of different cultures from all over the world. Appreciating one's culture is appreciating the creation of God in a unique and beautiful manner. As disciples of Jesus Christ we are also called to redeem our culture as we grow in God.
The DTS schools are designed to provide principles, to develop skills necessary for those who desire to influence society by Biblical principles and to live a Godly lifestyle.
The DTS is about people who come from different lands with a genuine hunger to get closer to God. It's about learning, loving and caring for one another regardless of colour, age or gender. It's about loving God and loving His people!

Cross-cultural exposure and global awareness are special emphases throughout the course, preparing the students to reach current and future generations and answer the call to "go into all the world and disciple all nations" Matthew 28:19.
Outreach Phase
For the second phase of the DTS, specially organized teams are sent out typically for 10 - 12 weeks (minimum eight) of evangelism in cross-cultural situations. The emphasis is on the application of principles taught in the DTS lecture phase coupled with teaching on evangelism concepts and practices equipping students to share their faith using a variety of means. Special assignments are given during this course.
A student's educational learning process is significantly accelerated and deepened, as they further experience the integration of "learning and doing" in the field assignment in keeping with the foundational truth of the Bible. Our outreach methods involve performing and creative arts, such as dramas, dance, singing, testimonies, and other creative methods. Basically, here at Island Breeze Brisbane, we encourage each student to express their God-given talents and gifting and to help the student to be further equipped in their place of ministry.
In the end, it proves to be a fun and rewarding time for you personally and for those you will be influencing with the Gospel. For 10 - 12 exciting, action-packed weeks, be part of a team doing hands-on evangelism here in Australia and overseas! Are you ready to be part of seeing the Great Commission fulfilled and the Gospel going to the ends of the Earth?
